Several staff members lecture on the College’s MSc in Information and Library Management which is accredited by the Library Association of Ireland. The Library has extensive digital and print resources as well as newly refurbished facilities. In 2018, the DBS Library Publishing Press was launched which publishes two international peer reviewed journals: Studies in Arts and Humanities and DBS Business Review. Both journals are indexed on international databases and on the Directory of Open Access Journals.

The DBS Library was an early adopter of Koha in Ireland, launching the system in September 2013. In addition to being an active contributor to the Koha User Group, open source software is taught in the curriculum of the MSc in Information and Library Management at DBS, with students deploying and configuring the software in the computer laboratory setting, ensuring that new graduate librarians are familiar with Koha as they start their careers.
