Library Thing for Libraries

You can now use Library Thing to enhance your HIP Web Catalogue

Library Thing for Libraries, LFTL, are now offering enriched content for use with the Hip Web Catalogue. 

LFTL can add book covers, customer reviews, tagging, similar books and shelf browse feature. The shelf browse is pretty cool when you have a good number of book covers in the catalogue. All of the features are separate subscription services and are sold directly by LFTL, but Interleaf Technology can make the changes required to your HIP catalogue to support the features. The Nationall College of Ireland has recently installed these features. See http://ipac.ncirl.ie/ and search for "Boris Johnson" on the Title keyword index for a good example.
