Library Applications

Interleaf Technology have been providing Library Management Systems to the Irish Library market for over 20 years.

Interleaf’s staff have been central to library automation in Ireland: Having installed Dynix in one of the first automated Public libraries in Ireland, Roscommon County Library, in 1989, we continued to innovate by implementing the first Horizon system in Europe in 1993. More recently Interleaf Technology has been leading the adoption of Open Source technologies in Irish libraries, primarily through our support for Koha.

We provide support and hosting of Open Source Library Management Systems using the Koha LMS.

Koha is a  web-based LMS designed for all kinds of libraries – from the smallest one-person-operation to university and multi branch public library environments. There are over 15,000 Koha installations world-wide

There are over 50 Koha libraries supported by Interleaf Technology.
